Hunter Tylo Feeds The Hungry On Skid Row

It comes as no surprise that I am constantly in awe of my neighbor and friend Bradley P. Bell, the three-time Emmy Award-winning writer and executive producer of CBS’s mega hit “The Bold and the Beautiful.” Just yesterday when I was serving veterans at the local USO, I learned that Brad and his award winning cast and crew were downtown in Los Angeles last Saturday, November 19 offering an early-Thanksgiving holiday meal to people who without his help, and the help of his cast and crew and other local volunteers, would not have had such a happy pre-Thanksgiving celebration. Brad is not one to brag, but he deserves to be given great credit for not only being so successful with “B&B” but also a great husband, father and citizen of Los Angeles, the nation and the world. From Holmby Hills, Brad could have just enjoyed his exquisite Bel Air home with his gorgeous family, but he wanted to make a difference this week, and he did.

Here are a series of photographs that shows Brad and crew, including his show’s producers, and several of his leading ladies; Adrienne Frantz (Amber), Katherine Kelly Lang (Brooke Logan), and yes, even Brad donned a hairnet and cooked, then served the needy.

On Saturday, November 19th, members of “The Bold and the Beautiful’s” cast and crew came together once again to help celebrate Thanksgiving at the Union Rescue Mission on Los Angeles’ Skid Row. Here is a look at the heartwarming and memorable day.

My mother told me that if Brad won’t toot his own horn, that I should do so for him. So thanks to Bradley P. Bell, the son of the legendary William “Bill” J. Bell and Lee Phillip Bell, the married team that has co-created and co-executive produced and written the two most successful soap operas in American history (“The Young and the Restless”) and (“The Bold and the Beautiful”). Lee and Bill taught all three of their talented and beautiful children the importance of giving back to the community. Brad also wrote such an exceptional storyline about L.A.’s homeless and introduced viewers to what goes on juts miles from the wealthiest region of the world.

We all need to find our “bliss.” Brad and his crew and cast love to go down to Skid Row to make a difference, I serve the troops every Saturday, and you can find your niche, and make a difference in the world we live in. So many are caught up in their own lives, much of it negativity, meddling and being small-minded and vindictive, but the Bell family only writes about people like that, they are truly Hollywood royalty, and did I ever mention, great writers and producers as well?

“B&B” airs weekdays on CBS.
